I love everything crockpot! I use my instapot too however I like the slow cook of the crockpot… if I remember to start it 😬
I also love pasta! We usually have a spaghetti night once a week and last week I tried this Alfredo recipe and it went over well and the leftovers were even better!
However, I have not found the secret to cooking pasta in the crockpot, so I was excited when this one turned out so well 🙌 AND it was a win with the family 🙌🙌
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast (shredded roasted chicken from Meijer or Costco works well)
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- 2 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- ¾ cup parmesan cheese
- 8 oz penne pasta, uncooked

- Add chicken, cream cheese, butter (cut into slices) garlic cloves, salt, pepper, broth and heavy whipping cream into the crockpot and give a quick stir. Cook low for 4 hours, making sure chicken is fully cooked.
- If you don’t have shredded chicken and using boneless skinless chicken, remove chicken and shred. ( I recently bought a shredder and LOVE it, I’ll try and attach below). After shredding, return to the crockpot along with the pasta and Parmesan cheese. mix well and cook about 35-45 minutes to making sure pasta is cooked.
- Enjoy! I usually serve this with a Caesar salad and garlic bread 🥖
Have blessed week, ChristyJo
