These potatoes were a hit with my kiddos, especially my middle! She even said they “almost as good as nana’s” LOL! hey I’ll take that 😉
Start with Peeling the potatoes, we don’t mind a little skin, so having them perfectly peeled isn’t a big deal for our family. However, it is for some, so do as you’d like. Cut into slices (don’t have to be thin), put in pot and cover with water (as much water as it takes to cover them). Set value to seal and cook high pressure for 8-10 minutes. Drain potatoes and return to pot. Then add remaining ingredients and mash ’em up!
- 6-7 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 stick of butter ( I like a lot of butter, so I use 1/2 when I mash and the other 1/2 when they were all mashed up, ready to serve and melting into yumminess in the middle)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- water (as much as it takes to fully cover the potatoes in the pot)
This was a really simply, cheap recipe and tasted outstanding! I will defiantly make these again! all in all these took about 20 minutes from start to finish.

Help with the mixing!
LOVE when my kids help in the kitchen!
