Family Meatloaf

Good afternoon, everyone! hope you’re having a wonderful Monday!

This is a recipe (again from my mom) that I make pretty often, just because the whole family likes it and I love the leftovers for lunch! this also is nice to make the night before and pop in when you get home from work…if you get home on time :/

Meatloaf Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs of ground beef (raw)
  • 3/4 cup of milk
  • 1 1/2 cup of croutons (I use the Italian one to add a little zest)
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 beaten eggs

Topping:

  • 1/4 cup of ketchup
  • 3 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon mustard

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Mix all the meatloaf ingredients in a large bowl. If you have your kiddos helping – this is a fun time for them to help, just make sure they wash their hands real well! before mixing and after 🙂

Put in a greased loaf pan.

Mix topping ingredients and pour over top of meatloaf and bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 30 min  – 1 hour 45 minutes. (I do put the loaf pan on a cookie sheet lined with foil, because I’ve had it spill out before and I hate cleaning an oven).

Tonight I am making corn on the cob with this, can’t wait to eat!!!

hope you enjoy! Have a blessed evening!
