What I’m Baking This Weekend šŸ

The cooler weather makes me want to get in the kitchen and do some baking šŸžšŸŖšŸ§ˆ

I have a few staples I love to bake! But this weekend I’m starting with Banana Bread and Protein Balls.

I’ve copied the recipes below:

Banana Bread (my mom’s recipe šŸ«¶šŸ¼)

  • 4 Bananas ( I always freeze old bananas, so thaw them out and they work perfectly for this bread)
  • 1.5 cups of sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1.5 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Blend together oil, eggs, and bananas. In seperate bowl mix all dry ingredients, then add the blended mixture and the vanilla.

Preheat oven to 350, Spray loaf pan with Pam spray, and bake 45 – 60 minutes.

Protein Balls

Mix all ingredients, roll into about 1 inch balls, place on parchment lined cookie sheet and put in fridge. Then once they harden a little bit, you can put them together in a bowl stored in fridge.

1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats

1/4 cup of chocolate chips (mini chips work well too)
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup honey

1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 Tablespoons chia seeds (optional)
Pinch of salt

Hope you have a blessed, beautiful weekend!
